Thanks for the nice votes. I used my wide angle at 15mm and the model was about 6 inches in front of a 600w Softbox. You can see my camera which I handheld right in front of her in her eye reflection.

I usually use my 50mm 1.8 for headshots or close portraits, so this was fun and a nice silly change.

Incredible composition and exceptional technical quality. Simply amazing portrait. Should be a ribbon contender if voters don't nit pick it for a solid white background.
I love the crispness of the shot, the whimsical expression, the way the wider-than-the-portrait-norm angle emphasizes the humor of the shot, the detail in the hair and eyes, the clever title... I am very tight-fisted with the 10's, but you got it here! I love it!
If anyone votes you down because the subject isn't totally white, I'll hunt them down for you. =)
