 Based on Joe's comment it seems I overprocessed it. Or under. Anyway, I did it in a wrong way. Because it was reasonably sharp (I'd say too sharp for a portrait) originally.
What I did was a pathetic try to smoothen the skin so I used a soft focus filter and erased the effect on the eye and the lone hairs. All this after some basic cleanups like removing a hair running through the eye and deleting part of the reflection of one of the softboxes in from eye.
Now the homework is given:
1. do the cleanup
2. find a proper way to make the skin look smooth
3. apply it to the skin only
4. apply the Luko USM technique to the eye and the sharp parts of the hair only
5. post the results :)

I almost picked this one for the pick your fav photo thread! I really liked the depth of field in this and the thin crop. I may have cropped some of the top of the image off to move the eye farther away from the center. Also I thought it could be alittle sharper so I hope you don't mind but I took it into photoshop and applied this new technique for sharpening I have been using called the Luko USM technique. Here is the results on your photo. IMO it helps make the eye pop. I really like this photo.
