This was last minute really. Not expecting much form this image maybe 4.5 if that. Shot of Edinburgh castle lit up, though i would have preferred to get it at night so the sky was black but it started pelting down with rain not long after this. Nothing heroic on pp

Focus is a bit soft and there isn't much detail in the rather dark castle. There seems to be a it of a bright halo around the castle - although that may be my monitor, perhaps.

I like the framing but would really like to have seen more of the castle in detail.

The halo around the castle really disturbs me. I'm sorry. It does look like an amazing place though - I'd love to visit someday.

Way oversharpened, unless you wanted those halos around every edge. It looks like the castle is glowing. Also, the composition seems too heavy on the sky. It makes the castle look very small.

Subject is a bit soft & the halo around it is bothersome, too. Great concept, poor execution - sorry...

I think a closer view with less sky would have had a more dramatic effect.

I see weird halos around the castle and the type. Don't like them.
Too much sky, not enough subject.
Sorry.

out of focus, plus I don't know what I'm looking at...

Your text doesn't really help much here. Your text actually helps me realize how much negative space you have above your subject. The building structure at the bottom is way out of focus and lacks any real detail. It also looks to be clipped short.

The time of day looks as if it would have been perfect for this shot.

I'm wondering why you didn't include your explanitory title in the photo. Maybe in a banner at the bottom? Would have added a little humor to the card.
Picture's a little oof, also.

too much dead space, not enough of the castle...

halos allaaround the castle, text and even border are very distracting

The weather looks ok to me... :) But seriously, I think the photo is decent, but perhaps too much negative space at the top of the frame, and not enough castle at the bottom. With a little more detail visible in the castle and a bit closer vantage point, I think it would be a little improved.

There's an odd reflection in the sky and the castle is not in focus. The font is nice.

An interesting composition. The building area is a bit dark and it's difficult to discern any detail. Love your title, though.

For me, there is too much sky and the building is too dark for a postcard.

The castle is too dark on my monitor. If I am going to buy a postcard, I want to see the detail. I think this would work better as a landscape shot with much of the sky cropped out and more detail brought out from the shadows

the postprocessing is clearly visible here and it's obvious that the camera shaked :-), it could go as a postcard

The text fits with the subject, but I can't read it! Ah, now I got it. Edinburgh? (Sorry...i'm not trying to be snide!) I like the lighting of the castle, it adds a nice contrast to the blue. And the nice big blue sky makes it nice and simple.
