 When I first got my 300d I was such a novice! It was spring, sunset and I loved the light coming through the trees. I pointed my camera (in auto mode with my 18-55 lens) and took a shot. This is what I got! No special effects, no editing except to crop out a bit of fencing. I have always loved this shot.
