7. I really want to see the bottom of the base. The rim, stem and base should be tack sharp.

Interesting concept. But the crop is too tight for my taste, no breathing room in the picture.

The cropping is so tight on this it leaves no room for the light per say. The goblet has a slight gold tone to it but with no space around it to help the black backdrop really define the glass it really looses a lot for me. I started with a 3 but will go to a 4 for the overall clarity and clearness of the shot.

The crystal does indeed look golden. Great lighting to get that effect! (Or did it have an irridescent layer on the glass?) Focus is crisp, I'm not sure I like the dark liquid. Would be interested in seeing it with a clear one. Also, I don't like the close crop. The image needs to breath a bit in my opinion, so a little bit of open space on the side would help, also give it an off-centered orientation which helps the composition. A lovely shot. 6
