A beautiful Fall day in New England. I shot this late afternoon and the water was so calm, I couldn't resist. This is the most I've done with post-processing so far on this site, so I hope people like it.
Converted to JPG, contrast, curves, saturation (to -90%), elliptical selection for the blur and shadow effects, added border. No spot editing.

Thanks everyone for the comments. I guess I could have gone 100% BW, but I liked the smoky feeling given off by these tones. I'll keep trying for that 6!
This is a beautiful shot, albeit a duotone. Why not make it a black & white? It's just as nice that way. Sure, it's a petty point to make, but B&W is the only stipulation this week.
