 Took this at the last night available here in Australia before the deadline...

I was very conspicuous with my camera and tripod and there were a few people having a good look at me and my gear. Thankfully there were a couple of policemen there as well.

This shop is near our main train station in the city. It has been there for decades as one of our best known hat stores.

It was Melbourne Cup Day and it was actually quite cold outside for a spring night, but that didn't stop many gorgeous women from walking about in their summer dresses still out and about from the big day at the races. We have a public holiday for the 'race that stops a nation', and today, the Japenese got first and second place. First place gets $5 Million, so we are talking serious horse racing!

Basically grayscale, duotone, levels and sharpening, resize, USM and border.
