It was raining, which left streaks on the steel sculpture, and sapped the area of vivid color. In Photoshop, I used Auto Curves, then desaturated by -25.

Maybe this would have been a better Self Portrait entry..

There is a stain toward the middle of the picture from something which was on the sculpture itself, which I'm sure I'll get all kinds of comments pointing this out.

Another terrific picture. You eye moves through the entire frame both on the inside and the outside. It is a beauty and the light and people add a very interesting depth. I'm surprised this one did so poorly, I'm guessing people thought it was some sort of mirror.

This is a fantastic abstract. I can't quite make myself see the sculpture, but what I do see are 2 halves of a banana surrounding the face of an alien penguin who is holding a tube up to his nose. Through the tube we see other penguins on the icy water. Fantastic!

Took a while to recognise (?) what I'm looking at. I still don't, but I can see reflections distinct from whatever it is that's reflecting them now. I'd give it five, but 6 on account of the evident ambition.

just can't tell what is going on. i see the reflection, but can't tell what of? and have to assume it's mirrored.
