I really really really wish I could spot edit this to get rid of those bizarre lines that run vertically down the right third. I have no idea how they got there. They aren't in any of my other photos. And they're so easy to edit out...it's a shame. I'm sure they will hurt my score A LOT.

I like this. it is a cool image that can be used for many applications.. esp. science fiction!

Interesting. But what are the vertical lines down it - they do spoil it somewhat.

Seems little soft and fuzzy...might be better to have full silhouette rather than features that are visible but unfocused.

The overexposed moon is somewhat distorted, but it nicely shows off the texture and contours of the land and casts a long shadow of the model. This photo has a good composition, but is technically poor.

I love the stars in the back ground and the deep color of the sky. I wish the figure was more in a silhouette though - the moonlight is so bright that I can see flesh tones of the face. Also, the moonrays detract from the image for me, I'm not sure if it would've been possible to not have them - particularly from the perspective the photo was taken (which I like btw) Good solid photo. 5

Normally, images that feature a blown out moon are not very appealing to me. Your shot, on the other hand, is something entirely different. In your image, the moon takes on a whole new life, it doesn't look remind me of the moon at all, but rather a spaceship or SOMETHING very mysterious. This whole image has an "other worldlieness" to it, from the ground (which appears to be sand?) to the sky, of which you've captured the stars quite nicely.

I'm assuming you used a larger aperture with a shorter shutter speed (no star trails and barely a hint of the star effect from the moon), which was a great choice in this case. I like how the person's hair is backlit by the moon, that really adds to the amount of detail in the image and gives it a bit more depth.

Overall I thought this was one of the better images in the contest. Good work!

Cool shot. Very creative. This reminds me of a sci-fi movie. 8.
