Greetings from the Critique Club...
I thought this was an incredibly tough challenge...which was why I didn't enter it :)
Your capture of the sign itself is very good...the light can be seen well. However, there's so much going on in the background that it doesn't stand out very well, especially the trail of lights and the disco ball thing. The ambient light might have been reduced by some more editing for brighness and contrast, but there's little you can do under basic editting to fix some of the more obvious distracting elements.
Otherwise, it's an interesting sign with some nice colors.
