USM, Burn, Neat image, not big changes. It is not a model, it's a doll, but you probably figured it out already.

Greetings from the Critique Club: I have been assigned your photo to critique and here are my thoughts:

Personal Reaction: This is a pleasant abstract, with a lot of interesting things going on in the photo once you look at it carefully.

Composition: Composition is good. Centered subject was risky but it worked well in this case. The triangular shape of the light is dynamic and helps convey a lot of energy. The light around the doll’s shoes is a nice touch, as is the flare near the bottom of the light.

Technicals: Good focus. It well captures the long exposure motion blur. I would like to see a little more light on the doll. There are some tantalizing reflections but not enough to satisfy. Perhaps a dim front light would have given just a little more … not enough to reveal, but enough to tease a bit more.

Conclusions: This is a popular genre (light trail motion blurs) and there are some very very good examples scattered among the challenges. In order to score high with this genre, you need to do it somehow better than the rest of the genre. Offer something new. You almost had it and only a little more would have gotten you there.

As always, this is my personal opinion. Feel free to PM me if you’d like further dialog.

very elegant, beautiful use of the light. Reminds me of an Oscar's portrait or something like that

The waist appears absurdly thin - otherwise nice
