 Inspired by the amount of money my son spends on cigarettes, the price of which seems to be steadily increasing, I piled the money and boxes on the kitchen table, used a tripod to keep the camera steady and set up an extra lamp for lighting. I used a black glove and sleeve to hide my arm as I moved the flame from place to place about the pile during the exposure. (No money or cigarettes were burned during the making of this photo.)
