Amazing color contrast and saturation. at first I thought the placement of the bodies in the frame was too static; but with the blue and red swirl layers is quite effective and eye pleasing.

Very nice. I took a lot of shots myself but none as nice as yours.

For the rest of you cranberries are grown on low bushes maybe two feet high. The flood the fields and then use a thrasher, cranberries float. White cranberries are red cranberries that have been harvested early.

They make excellent wine.

This is beautiful! I really wanted to see that this year but couldn't make it back home in time. As a kid I grew up with my dad standing in that water raking in all the berries and me sitting on the shore watching and eating fresh cranberries! Thank you for sharing and bringing back fun memories.

Love the piece of Cape Cod lore. This is a marvelous pic. Did you take it near one of the bridges in the lower cape? I passed by a bog going up there and would have loved to be able to get such a wonderful story shot, as this one is.

Cranberries grow on very low, spreading bushes. They are planted in bogs, which have dikes to control water flow. A little water is let in every now and then for irrigation, and then for harvesting they flood the bogs and the berries release and float to the surface.

Nice colours. I always thought cranberries grew on a bush or something like that.

Great colours. But, true, I had no idea how they harvested cranberries. I would have thought they grew on trees.
