Shoted at my stepsister appartment with my little man being dressed in lions for is first halloween.

editing steps:

1.Converted from RAW in ACR
2. converted to B&W using channel mixer (red0%, Green 0%, blue 135%)

3. Resized 640x427
4. USM 200, 0.5, 3
5. resized 630x420
6. border 1px inside white
7. canvas size 640x430
8. color layer black
9. drop the new layer behind the image
10. flatten
11. save for web.

strong blue ch. mixer setting is interesting, and I think a good conversion. Good subject and excellent album foto. a fav in this challenge.

Excellent tones and lighting in this. The child's eyes are incredibly gorgeous and mesmerizing. To me, this shows a newfound confidence the child has discovered somehow, just as long as mom (who's also gorgeous) is nearby and supportive. Great shot.

I think it's a good idea with two people to have them looking in different directions. it creates movement in the composition. I also sense a lot of affection between these two. 7

Halloween? Why do you need a holiday just to dress up? Just take a look at my photo when the challenge is over - I wear it all the time! Just don't let the kid see it - it's kind of disturbing - especially my score! Nice photo you got!

Unlike other photos in this challenge, I really like that the image fills the landscape orientation. And how can you go wrong with an adorable subject like that?!
