 I considered this for Free Study XIV but as I would have only voted it a 5 I chose not to. I still like the image and the vast empty space. I'd prefer the bird to be a little bigger and sharper but I couldn't manage it.

Sweet little bird - love the negative space/minimalism. As you noticed yourself it could be a bit sharper, but still a nice image.

Oh, this is REALLY cool! I love the minimalist feel to it. I too am a big fan of appropriately used negative space -- which this most definitely is!

i love the purple!!!! i'm a huge fan of negative space... so this photo is totally my kinda photo~!!!!!!!!!!! not your typical bird photo!! wonderful work~
