 Very stormy weather that evening. It was the night before the northern coast of Germany suffered from a heavy storm tide - my tripod nearly got blown away. At least it wasn't raining.

I know, this damn sign on the right is distracting. But I didn't noticed that during the shooting and reproducing was impossible. Deal with it ;)

Thanks for your great comments and votes! This is a new personal best :) But soooo close to a 7. Damn, I always wanted a score with that magical 7 in front ;) Hope I get one sooner or later...

The sign actually enhances the image for me, it gives it some balance.

I looked, but I could not find the old lady in the chair, the mouse, or any of the other things listed in the book :) Great image, very soft feel to this image. What really makes the photo, in my opinion, is the tail on the moon, giving the impression that you are watching something streak through the sky. One of my top photos in this challenge, good work.

VERY nice clarity. Can we cut that sign pole off below water line?lol...overall lovely image. Dunno how you got the crystal clear sky/stars and that velvety smooth water, I really like image. gl 9+
