 Looking down into the valley we live in, up in the mountains looking for elk. Considered this for the landscape in portrait but went with a shot for portrait in landscape which bombed.

Lovely!! Detail is excellent and great job with the light given the snow. Some will tell you "but it's blown out in places" to which I'd say when you look at it without a camera, it IS blown. Really nice shot - I suspect it would have done well in the Landscape in Portrait challenge. As it is, it's a great addition to your portfolio.
