Challenge: Portrait in Landscape Orientation (Advanced Editing IV*)
Camera: Canon EOS-5D
Lens: Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM
Location: Chicago, IL
Date: Oct 29, 2006
Aperture: f/3.5
ISO: 100
Shutter: 1/60
Galleries: Portraiture, Children
Date Uploaded: Oct 30, 2006

Actually tried more Photoshop type editting here. I cloned out some dirt around his mouth, and changed the color of the wall behind him from a burnt orange to the olive-looking green. For the shot, I bounced the flash up to the ceiling.

Yeah, I know. I keep shooting one of the "forbidden subjects" (a child, in this case), so I'm destined for a 4-4.3 score.

I didn't vote in this challenge, because I don't do portrait photography and I am intimidated by it. This is beautiful. I like the lighting, the colors, and for some reason I think the negative space on the right works to enhance the shot.

Alright Catboy...now we finally see your face. Don't think that you'll be able to hide from us forever! Tell your photographer they did a good job at taking your picture.

I like the contrast, lighting and pose. However, I am not sure what the Landscape format gives you but dead space...
