Great subject but a more off-centre comp would make better use of the frame.

This is a happy looking fellow. :D Nice photograph overall. Good detail in his face (although his jacket seems sharper for some reason). Minor observation/complaint is I think the image would have a little more impact if he was moved a little to the left to get more off-center. Anyway, well done. Good luck in the challenge.

I like the contrast, lighting and pose. However, I am not sure what the Landscape format gives you but dead space...
