I am back to look at this again, something I really like about it, maybe the expression in the eyes, I am not sure anyway you have captured something that really appeals to me here, perhaps she reminds me of someone I don't know but going to make this a favorite anyway.

Just noticed this, I scored it much higher than it achieved. I would guess it is because of the border, I personally like big borders but have been hurt by them a couple of times myself. I really like the shot though, love the tones and crop.
Hope to see you in your second challenge soon.

Interesting crop. It gives it a movie strip feel.

Don't see this kind of border too much. Why the crop? Look and listen before you speak? If so, nice touch.

I have a feeling that you may have been crucified for this border. I think I see where you were going, but think the photo would have been "better" without it. It's a really nice shot though.

I like this use of frames!
Great use of light too.
I'm just a bit unsure about expression... there is something that hints a smile more than thinking... But it's just me.

The border is a bit dominating for my taste

I like the contrast, lighting and pose. However, I am not sure what the Landscape format gives you but dead space...

Not a big fan of the black borders on this sorry!
