had a similar idea for faceless portrait, but didn't get the chance to enter that challenge, so i figured i'd throw a bit of "face" in and throw this picture into this challenge.

- auto contrast
- virtual photographer to convert to b&w, increase contrast, add image grain
- levels, curves
- dodging and burning
- resize, add border, smart sharpen, save for web.

I like it! The use of space. Almost looks like a cartoon...

What a great shot - I'm hoping it will finish in the top 10.

Not sure the B&W works for me here. It seems to take the detail away.

something about this is appealing, would have preffered smooth background,

high contrast works great here...love the huge negative space...
it overwhelms and isolates at the same time...just like those headphones...
great work!

Well done! The texture on the wall really adds something to the picture, especially by placing the person far away in the corner. The high contrast is also very nice.

Excellent. This looks like an arsenal image. Great use of neg. space. I like the high contrast of the guy and the texture on the wall.

I find headphones fetalicious. Even without a gorgeous female. Nice gritty feel. I digg the wall and the vignetting makes a rad subtle border.

I like the contrast, lighting and pose. However, I am not sure what the Landscape format gives you but dead space...
