 This was taken at roughly 11am.

Of all the photos I took during the blizzard, I keep coming back to this one. There's something I like about it immensely, though I can't put my finger on what. I'm considering entering it in the next juried competition that comes my way.

Well, I can only echo Exactly what Deb said...the first thing that struck me was the sign, and then the direction of the snow....

and I am sorry for you :( Thats too much, too soon!!

I like it, too. The sign is great and the overall sense of bleakness is really good. Thanks for reminding me why I left Colorado;)

For me, it's the "One Way" sign. It's the first thing the eyes go to, and lo and behold, the snow is indeed following orders, and heading in the direction indicated. The car also looks a wee bit irritated but hanging in there. Don't know if this helps explain anything!
