Earlier in the day I had taken my boards exam, and drove up to DC to meet my friend Alan who was up there for the weekend. This was taken at the end of the reflecting pool, at the base of the steps in front of the Lincoln Memorial.
definitely the best shot in your portfolio. this is one of the best shots i've ever seen of a D.C. monument. perfect control of the exposure in my opinion. the dark tree silhouettes work as wonderful leading lines in this shot!! i've seen this monument during the day but this shot makes me want to go back to dc and admire its beauty at night. simply wonderful shot!
