Calmness - yepp, I was at a distance of 60 yards or so, glad he was calm! :D The others were not this calm, that's why I couldn't take a closer position. This distance is also the reason for being able to focus properly and getting such a DOF.
PP - a little levels and a tiny bit of saturation, both during RAW processing, mild USM later, nothing more. Must have done it because it was just before sunset and the west sky was cloudy.
