 Thanks to Magnus for holding the gutted picture frame for me. I was inspired by DrAchoo's seed entry. I gutted a poster size picture frame and used sticky tack to hold the leave on the glass.

Not expecting much from this to be honest. I really enjoy it so it is probably in the 4.0 - 4.8 range. I really like the background colors but I'm sure it is distracting from the leave which is the subject so...here we go.

I think that your bokeh detracts from rather than enhances your intended focal point. The white in the OOF area pulls my eye into the background away from the intended focus point in the foreground.

Pretty intense bokeh going on here. Maybe a bit too much as it is stealing away from your front leaf. The area of the background that I find most pleasing is the lower half. It seems that that area compliments the leaf well. The upper part is just too intense IMO.
