Thanks for the comments! This is now my second highest rated photograph, but I'm still on my way to break 6.

Anyway I had a few other macros with better, more attractive and more noticeable bokeh, but I liked the composition and contrast of this shot so much I was blinded of the actual contest. I'll keep the contest theme in mind a bit more next time. Thanks again!

Excellent high quality macro. Sharpness is exceptional and you captured a good pose. I wanted to do something similar in my bokeh entry and even tried, but could not get sufficient depth of field to get the insect in sufficient focus and get the bokeh I was after.

The deail on the bug is good. I wish there were some intensity in the tones and contrast on the leaf. The upper left of the leaf being blurred kind of distracts me a bit.

Good, but it would have had a little more impact if there was a a tiny bit more detail in the "abyss".

Neat little bug! The bokeh could be more pronounced for the sake of the challenge. As it is the background almost blends into one solid color.
