| The background on this image rocks! I love the color and bokeh - very nice! I might have tried using selective colors to bring out the whites in the back even more (who knows) - but it's awesome! I think the poor score has nothing to do with the fine bokeh you captured but rather with the flower in the foreground. As others have said, it is a bit washed out and could benefit from a tighter focus. I think you could crop 1.5 to 2 inches off the right and make the flower seem more a part of the image too. The color of the flower is beautiful against the gorgeous greens of the back. |

| Nice job on the complementary colors and the vivid hues. Perhaps it would help to cut/paste a humingbird drinking from the tumpet (lol, joking) However, the DPC 'wow' factor isn't there I spose for the voters. Perhaps a florist fake bumble bee placed in trumpet? lol |

| omg... that is such a sucky score. Undeserving. Not to worry though Jude, this was a terribly confusing challenge for most I think. |

| Nice bokeh, but the flower spoils the overall effect. Its nether sharp nor well positioned to form a pleasing composition - its just THERE! |

| Well - you have the bokeh thing going on but I am not digging the imag ein general. Kind of soft and blown on the flower and it just feels like it is there to have something against the background. Doesnt grab me. |
