Now our albums are filled with beautiful photos of our beautiful children...what about something unbeautiful? Having been challenged to think what I could do with "Bokeh" and what exactly it meant, I tried a few shots of my daughter dancing (as usual) on the back lawn and getting that movement fuzz around her. Then as the day was ending, my babes were showering and I hit on the idea of getting them to blow fish faces against the shower door! I am holding thumbs that the misted up glass and the blurred background do it for the Bokeh criteria...

After having spent a good 20 minutes laughing hysterically at the effects of blowing on the glass door, we (my son, daughter and I) revisited the resulting pics over and over again for a good laugh: none of us had expected the elasticity in my son's cheeks and the outrageously ugly look he could muster with just a bit of air: He is otherwise a gorgeous looking little beasty...

Harshly judged in my view. I like the colour and comp of this, as well as the subject.

...one week too early: should have entered this one in the "expressive portrait in landscape"....then I would have given it the title:

Come in here and make me!

Oh well...Thanks for the comments re. making you smile. Didn't do too badly in light of the criteria, so I'm smiling too:)

You were robbed. Should have been in top 25 or better to me. I like these kind of family shots, check my portfolio, got one very similar. Van

Everytime I look at this I can't help laughing ou loud. This is a good photo and very clever.

I am a fan of anything silly and funny that is in fairly good taste and not hurting any one.

Bet you are probably seeing some DNMC comments, but I like it! Good one to put in the family album! :)

Is this limited depth, or the shower door masking the boy's frame? It is hard to tell.
