 I know... they're icky... But they're also sort of cool looking.
trying to remember if I had an extension tube on or not for this... I think not.
Adjusted curves, levels... all the usual stuff...

Fantastic detail! I don't know that I ever want to see a fly quite as perfectly as this one is.

This is the only "pretty" fly I've ever seen. I love that he has pink and purple and orange.... what a great capture. The pic is so clear and you captured some great detail. Excellent shot. The green is also a wonderful compliment to the little guy.

I don't think their icky, to me they a have a very aerodynamic look to them. Great caputer, but what makes your image so interesting is what ever it is resting on as it really adds to the image.

I only think they are icky when they sit in my food - I find them quite fascinating when you get close to them like here. Good picture, nice colours :)
