elijah, my inspiration today

Continuing with the diary theme (please read the comments for my other pics), this picture was taken at rehearsal for the next play I am going to be in. We had a rough weekend, dealing with and helping a friend through a really bad night. The two of us had very little sleep and lots of shoulder-crying, on this morning the sun was coming through the rehearsal space window and reflecting beautifully. I thought of the theme for the week and said 'Eli, lay in it and look gorgeous'. I fired a few shots quickly before the director yelled us back to work. I didn't even have time to really adjust the settings. But after uploading it, I loved the softness to it and the peace & calm I caught considering all we had been through and what was happening around us - 15 actors & crew screaming about this and that. I'm proud of this one.

I think the variance is scores is truly amazing. Thank you everyone ;-)

I love this idea and IF it had been in focus I would have given it an 8...frustrating.

May just be lighting across top of face and arm, but subject looks slightly blurred.
