 Harking back to the days when I was a decent photographer, Velvia days (Color blindness doesn't help when editing in photoshop). I've always loved the in camera challenges and relative post exposure simplicity of chromes.

Nikon D200, 50mm f1.8AI & 12mm extension tube with the slides on a light table.

very clever shot. i like the way it is setup and the colors that come out of the slides, the slide shots are great as well.

Wow I love the photo you took AND the photos that you took them of. Amazing. However I can see where colorblindness might hurt you, however you could always shoot black and white!
