 I took this picture on the way to work one morning. On the left you can see the long line of cars heading into work. On the right, you can see all the people taking transit. Unfortunately, this is a typical morning in Calgary.

Post work done in Picasa: Soft Focus (Small amount), Sharpen, Graduated Filter to enhance the sky a bit.

Well...my second challenge submission and the results were almost a whole point better than the first one. I took this on the way to work so I sadly didn't have my tripod. I think the idea itself was a good one but there was a lot of room for improvement.

Nice sense of motion, but there are severe JPEG artifacts that ruin the image... a higher quality setting would help a lot.

for e the blur is not enough or too mcuh. a longer exposure would have been cool but for me here it just looks blurry.nice prespective.

Great idea! I really like the photo overall but I want to crop the dark mass on the left. It detracts from the good stuff on the right. I'm no expert but a crop, left of the lampost (approx. 1/4") would still show the end of the road and the lights from the tall buildings. It strengthens the photo & makes it easy to take in all the hectic morning traffic, etc. I hope this is helpful! 6
