I appreciate all the comments, and even agree that there are issues with this shot. But I stand by my earlier conviction that I really like this shot. It depicts exactly how I feel on many mornings. The harsh light and over-bright colors are what my head feels when that stupid bathroom light first comes on - and continues until the coffee is made and inside me.
It's not very good, but it's very true...

I obviously agree with your interpretation of mornings - I gave this a 7. Nice job, especially with the slow shutter speed. And this is one of those shots where "blown" most definitely works.
