I really don't like spiders, but this one isn't scarey at all.....
He is quite attractive, and I like how you have used the light to enhanse him.

I love how the lighter background around the boarder looks like smoke! Nice macro, gettin me excited for halloween!! 8o)

i like how the shallow DOF hides part of the web, blending it into the background, but i disagree with magenmarie... i'd have liked to see the whole spider in focus in this shot...
