 I went at the country-side these days for a little rest and escape from the city and noise . I saw the challenge and on DPC and i took my camera and a book in the forest. When the sun begun to hide behind the hill the light looked some kind mistical.

I can see what you were after. I think you needed your lighting to be just a little more even throughout. Shadows are just a little dark for me. And, maybe shooting from the other angle so the light is coming through the pages toward the camera. Just a thought.

I think it would have been more dramatic if the stem in the foreground was sharper.

I would possibly have put the book in front of the sapling and shot it symmetrically with a wide angle.
