Found this one while reorganizing my folder structure on my desktop. Apparently I had completely forgotten about it.
Anyway, I shot it on my trip to the east coast. This is my brother.
Unfortunately, I do not remember what I've done to it. Hopefully I can summon the original from the darkest depths of my hard drive, wherever it may be, so I may redo it. For now, this is what I got.
Update Desaturated everything except Garrett and played with the sand a bunch. I tried to match his fleshtones but this was as close as I could get.
Honestly, that little wave is still a bit too underdramatic for me to care about the image too much. The desaturation was my idea to draw the eye away from the underimpressive battle against nature. A bit effective, but not by much, I think. I like the image better this way, anyway.
