The clear blur affect, as i'm sure many other commenters said is the depth of field. The idea of it being a clear blur is really cool. Great shot of a laptop keyboard, nice focus and clarity. The pic isn't really interesting though, and the relation to the challenge is limited

You want users to be able to identify the oxymoron without reading the caption.

good oxymoron (although the title forces it a bit). shots of keyboards aren't ever very exciting are they? Composition is reasonable with the diagonal. Lighting isn't bad. 6
