 I don't get the noise issue its in my original (i.e. not due to sharpening). Perhaps is because I did not use a lens shade and the light is crossing.

I like this, too. *Again* you have framed the dog well and selected a great background. Even the positioning on the floor is interesting, for heaven's sake! Can't help with why you got noise in the first place but you could try NeatImage to clean it up (lots of choices for how much noise to remove to get an image you're happy with). I've become a convert ;-)
