Wow, this is very pretty! The colors are just awesome. The composition is very serene - it looks so nice that I wonder if you didn't ask the deer to pose nicely for you ;-D I love the flowers, the shadows around the bottom, and how the deer seems to look right at the viewer. The almost-gradient from lighter colors at the top to darker at the bottom makes for an exquisite effect.
As others have said, this looks like a painting. Personally I find that wonderful to look at. From a photographic standpoint, however, it doesn't seem as "alive" as I would expect a photo to be. It seems very flat and noisy. The commenters, and myself, like the effect but I would imagine that other people might not, which probably did hurt your score.
All in all, congrats on such a GORGEOUS shot!! You might have some luck selling this as a print because it truly is lovely. |

| Ummm, are you sure you didn't just take a picture of the painting hanging on your wall? This is just fabulous! Perhaps a few too many jpeg artifacts, but the composition and color is superb. |

What a wonderful surprise and way to start the day!
She looks as surprised as you probably were.
A "deer" in the morning or a "dear" in the morning keeps you smiling all day!

| You either had a very tame deer or were incredibly quick off the mark to take this one! It is beautiful and I particularly like the meadow flowers to add further interest. |

perhaps isn't perfect, there is noise on the image (perhaps for the crop or for the underexposition or other reason) but this image seems a painting. It's a beautiful image now I rate it 9 but I come back in the second moment.

| Shot has a good bit of noise to it, but capturing a doe in the morning is not easy. Nice shot. |

| don't know what it is that make's it look more like a painting then a photograph... I'm sure it's the fog, still there's something that just doesn't do it for me for a nature photograph... |

| WOW oh WOW! I can almost feel the droplets hitting my face. The white flowers to the left of the deer make it for me. Lovely. |
