Nice tonal range.Good lighting. Nothing is too dark or light. I like the dof. Good composition.I guess the only thing missing is something to catch my eye. That isn't to say that there isn't interest in this photo - there is. I think a different background might have helped - something to add visual contrast.

Very cute idea. I think some levels or curves adjustments a touch. Help it pop a little bit more. To me it appears slightly flat and doesn't seperate enough even with the dof. But nice overall.

Very nice image, and cute title to go with it. Great choice of background with the log ends showing. Crisp and well focused on Woody and the ax head/handle. Well done! One of my top picks for this challenge. Good luck!
