Very cute idea; for some reason I find the bit of Ducky to the left of the head a bit distracting.

Nice idea, but too hidden. More duck face would help, even cropping this image would be better.

Okay, this is a clear cut example of a great idea, but a not-so-great execution :) I think a closer crop to the hidden ducky in a bigger picture (imagine a portrait on a wall, with the ducky in one of the corners, hidden like it is now) but without forcing flash onto the leaves. THe flash blew the leaves a little out of proportion whereas soft lighting might have actually worked a lot better. If it's the sun, then afternoon sun in that case. The shot is not bad - on the contrary. I just think with by changing a few things like I suggested it couldve been a lot more impactful. Good luck with the next challenge :)

Certainly a hidden ducky! Give it almost a "Where's Waldo" kind of feel. But I think that perhaps some plants with a variety of foliage (or perhaps...dare I say it? Even flowers) might lend a little more interest to the shot.

Is he/she bashful? :) Interesting approach you took here. Not sure that it's going to go over too well unfortunately...think more of the duck should be visible. Another item that will hold this down some is the lighting, it's too harsh where you're getting the reflections off of the waxy leaves. Diffused lighting would have worked a little better here I think. All JMO of course. Best of luck to you in the challenge.
