Well Leroy, I think this should have done better. I like the overall concept, execution and artistic quality - great job.

It may have done better with a different background though...

Well, I don't like to think about you naked, but I gave this shot a 9! :)

leroy? this is stunning. a lovely image, and the perfect title, so ambiguous, letting us supply the context ranging from a model's reluctance to true horror.

a vulnerable male nude is so rare, thank you.

I like the composition but I don't like the processing. I am not fond of the grain or the bright spot on the wall. I realize that is what you wanted but it is just not my taste. 7

Nice work here. I like the non-glamourousness of it very much, and the framing of the head with the flash reflection is a nice touch. I think, as a suggestion, a more rigorous crop might have paid dividends, though i can see your point with what you've done.

I love the prickly texture that extends from his skin through his hair to the highlight on the wall. Your title really refines the disturbing feeling of this photo, suggesting that photography itself is a form of abuse. 9

a "Tool" song comes to mind. dig the lighting and processing...don't dig the creepy, naked guy acting like a 5 year old...but hey it is your art.

I typically do like grain in monotoned images, but I'm not sure it's done you any favours here. I guess it may be because I'd prefer to see 'flesh' as smooth and as something that would be wonderful to touch, but the overall feeling I get here is gritty and hard. I see you've softened the highlights somewhat (diffused glow?) and that does help to a certain degree. Also. I think your subject's pose and title match perfectly and do well to aid the viewer in believing the message you're conveying. Well done, if this is an sp, I think you are very brave. Cheers, Rina.

Very powerful - love the light on the wall - the texture reflects that of the skin.

I like the grain in this, and the bright direct light is nice for this shot.
