Took a walk with my daughter in Princeton...it turned out to be a beautiful fall day and quality time spent.
This is essentially a glorified snapshot. We were walking towards Triumph Brewery to meet up with my wife, saw the stairs and arches. Loved the lighting, so I told Madison to walk up the stairs. Hand held at 1/50 (50mm).
Post Processing:
-Cropped (RSP)
-Convert from RAW (RSP)
-In photoshop, measure tool to level stairs.
-Bumped the Contrast a bit
-Selective color for her sweater
-Selected Daughter, lightened
-Darkened the top rail
-Cloned out a hand from someone walking into the frame
-Cloned out distracting blue paper on lamp
-Selected slate in foreground, added more contrast
-Burned the lower and upper corners of image.
-Resized
-Sharpen
-Save for web.

Very nice composition. The blue of her sweater and the blue reflected off of the railings along with those touches of blue in the stones at the bottom of the stairs makes for some nice continuity.
