Nice point of view! The depth of field works so nicely, too. Unique interpretation of the challenge. 9

Very nice shot. Maybe the frame is a bit wide...

This looks like a stock foto so will critique as such. Focus is nice one the nands/glue/car! Not sure I like the apparent desaturation down to the red car. IHMO in this shot I would like the color back. The glue tube is backwards. Would raher not see the UPC

(Not DPC legal) After voting of course...get rid of the (clone out?) the counter top under the kids left hand.

Great triangular composition. I am not too keen on the colour desaturation as it only works if one part of the photo has colour and the rest is without. Also the border is very overpowering your otherwise great image. Making it thinner would have helped a lot.

Huh, my comment disappeared! EEK! That's scarey! ;)

My comment was basically I can relate to this dream as I have three older brothers who loved model cars. The only thing that really bothers me about the pink on his face and fingers is that it isn't extended to the hand on the left, it throws the balance of the photo off for me.

I like the desaturation (or I assume that is what it is) but it is a shame it has left the pink tinges on the ear, cheek and fingers. Having said that, I still really like this shot.

Very good composition. Focus is right on. I like the desaturization that was used because it emphasizes the red on the car. Very nice job.

This is a good solid shot. I think the border is a bit too thick though. The white line is good, but a thinner black border would not detract from the shot as much.

I hope this is just the start and not the completion of that dream, otherwise, he's not reaching very high.

Superb picture, great in every way. I do feel though that it hasn't really met the spirit of the challenge, and has been shoehorned in a bit. Normally I'd give it a 9 or a 10 (the desat has left a bit of an unattractive grey in places), but here I think I'm going to go for 6.

This is a very good photo. The composition, the tight crop, the boy's expression, all wonderful. But I personally think you have reduced the quality of the image by desaturating all the colors except red. The redness in the boy's face and hands gives me feeling he has some kind of illness or something. This one I would have left fully in color or gone fully B & W.
