is a nice ship. Wish the circle had not been cropped. feels like it is in the mist though.

I love what you were trying in this shot but the modern stuff ruins the effect for me. Maybe if you coulda moved around a bit or done more with the 'croping'... I do want to know how you got the nice round "framing" on this one. I know how it's done on film but how did you do it here??? Don't know if it woulda been possible from your potential vantage points but if ya woulda got just the tall ship and some coast and the roundness of the shot it would have been a 9!

What a beautiful ship! Too bad you had to get all the other icky stuff in the background! If there was some way you could have made the sailing ship a little more transparent it would be close to a perfect shot.

There's too much haze in this photo which is enhanced by the circle formed by the large black areas. I think it would be better cropped to remove the circle and the contrasts enhanced.

Very cool.... reminds me of a pirate on a ship looking through his "spyglass" at another pirate ship. Excellent coloring to make it even more realistic!! 8.

Interesting effect; I like it. The view through the 'telescope' is dream like and engaging.

I like the idea, the haze and the vignetting, but I think the view should be a whole circle (if possible) and I really don't care for the border. Still a very nice shot

Very nicely done. How was it accomplished?

The idea is good, but the flying dutchman was a different type of boat. Also, I don't get the black vignetting or the other boats. (3)

Does it usually appear in daylight? Still, lovely shot, I absolutely love tall ships.

Interesting composition. I enjoy it when someone dares to do something different. The frame works well.

in some ways i like the circular crop, because it looks like looking through a looking glass. but at the same time i think it would look better if it weren't croped on the top and bottom.
