This is my daughter, Christine.

Regarding the blown highlights or too bright whites, I meant to do that - I was trying to isolate the hair and really make it stand out. In one edit, I managed to remove everything but the hair and it looked like a creepy little animal. ;-)

Thanks for the comments!

Sure do...

Wow...this one came in at 108? That's way too low IMO. It caught my eye right away and I think it does give some personality to the subject. I really like the background. Might have chosen a top for the model that wasn't quite so light, but still remain a solid color.

I like the slightly sideways pose as well, seeing just a small part of her face.

I think you did a fine job isolating her hair. Geez, another one I would've voted at least a 6.

OK, I'm doing some self-slapping right now.
I've always thought Rachel is your wife - they look kinda similar!
aargh... I need to sharpen my eyes with unsharp mask... :p
Yes, beautiful girls, they are!

The one on the right is Christine before she got those dreadlocks. Can't say I'm fond of the look, but whattya gonna do? :)

I like the way the hair and skin are the only parts that are in color. The background is supurb. I ususally don't like borders but I think it really adds a lot in this shot. 10

Nicely exposed and processed. I like the glowing sensibility, the frame, and the BG.

I wish the shirt was not so bright, but I really like the background and the texture of the hair.

The whites in this photo are just a bit blown out.
