 This little immature Natal Francolin was seperated from his parents momentarily, as they scurried off into the grass without him when my car approached.He froze in the middle of the road and called in panic.He eventually made a run for it and got to safety.

Awww... too sweet. Something about the way you've photographed the little bird really emphasizes the lonliness and the vulnerability, and makes the viewer want to try to help the poor fellow or something. WONderful capture!
