Simple setup with a blue-gelled flash on the background, and the built-in flash on woody. Had to use ISO 400 to be able to stop down a bit without having to increase power on the flash (the gel would have melted...). Processing only sharpening in three steps.

A fairly static photo with not much going on. Perhaps a little more dramatic lighting and a pose that involves more than a head tilt.

I don't care for the lines in the backdrop I think if it was smooth it would look much niceer. Granted you wanted the slight blue.. but I think if you warmed the woodie up a touch against the cooler background it would have givven a stronger feel.
