 Almost straight from the camera. Rotated. Adjusted levels a touch and saturation. Resized.

Stupid bug. yes, it is alive. yes, I thought about moving him (wish I had). Yes, I wish it was advanced editing and I'd clone his butt out of there. Also, if it was adv. editing, I would apply a guassian blur blended with the original to soften it up. It looks awesome that way.

Don't know if this is "contrasty" enough, but I just wasn't in the mood for a bw shot. I've got one, but this one has a bit mroe "oomph" to it.

seems like light comes from center of this flower bud, very nice. Very top of background seems to have some color noise (very likely just my laptop monitor and not your pic). nice idea.

What a cool flower! Looks like fire. Lovely contrasting colors. Nice crop. I think my eyes would prefer a little tighter focus on at least the very center of the flower.
