I decided for the month of October I am only going to shoot B/W photos. I have always wanted to shoot a B/W photo with some impact. So for every challenge here on out in the month of October I will submit a B/W photo in hopes of creating one with some impact. Figure this will be good practice for learning photoshop and for learning how to achieve the ultimate lighting situaion.

Shot in JPEG (camera settins was monochrome) & I used a canon 500D closeup filter.

Sharp and clean photo. Nice, simple, effective black and white composition. So many photos here don't seem high contrast. This one meets challenge very well in my opinion.

I would prefer a little less negative space but that way it gives the viewer the feeling of a long fall. Great shot.
